This Sunday 5/5 I return to ArtWalk with some new pieces and a few older ones. I’m like a lizard, only coming out when it’s warm! The new works are all related to the Cinco de Mayo theme and I hope that everyone enjoys them. This was a rougher process for me as I wanted have a strong Mexican flair but not derogatory or unintentionally offensive. There’s been some local press lately about students and staff making some poor judgement calls and I really don’t want my name being mentioned next. At least it’s a teachable moment for the community.
As you can tell, I totally dropped the ball on the site redesign. I’m still working on the layout and – once again – aimed a little high. At least I know how to scale it back this time but with all my work projects coming to fruition, what free time I have after work I spend thinking about work.
